Thirsty Thursday is an all female network and that is the only qualification for membership. Our members are aged from 19 to 70 and bring a whole range of experience, energy and enjoyment to the network. We love the diversity and potential that this creates.
Our events which include monthly socials in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds and themed lunches and afternoon teas are intended first and foremost to be fun. We believe that women deserve great nights out, treats and some well earned indulgence and make it easy for our members to have all those things.
We find that our lovely relaxed events make it incredibly easy for people to meet, make connections and have great conversations with each other. Over the years we’ve seen friendships, business partnerships and wild ideas all blossom at Thirsty Thursday
Thirsty Thursday began as a hobby when Emma, our founding Director was so busy at work that she wasn’t finding time to meet up with friends. She decided that they should all put the last Thursday of the month in their diaries and make a regular habit of getting together. [HTML_REMOVED]
Six of them met up for the first Thirsty Thursday in Manchester five years ago. Today we have 800 members in Manchester, around 120 in Leeds and nearly 100 in Liverpool, all enjoying the sense of community, support and possibility that Thirsty Thursday brings.
